Project Description
For each highway line were designed separeta bridge construction. Each bearing construction is composed of prestressed prefabricated concrete girders with monolithic composite slab. Plan inclination of bridge is pretty hig (approx. 53°), bridge has seven spans, with length of 201 m and carrise D1 highway over road I/55 Přerov - Otrokovice, double track electrified railway Břeclav - Přerov and field road.
The concept of scaffolding by piers was provided by two separate structural systems - TRECOL tower system and steel frames. Individual steel consoles were used by abutments.
For piers 3 and 6, TRECOL system towers were designed on the sides towards the railway from system elements that were used at the place until the bridge deck was completed on one side up to the outer abutment. The basic supporting elements for vertical load transfer were the HPC reinforced concrete columns.
The basic structural unit of the tower was an equilateral triangle. In the corners of the triangles, were used supporting circular reinforced concrete columns with a real load-bearing capacity exceeding 80 t, supplemented with auxiliary stabilizing steel columns outside the loaded plane. In the transverse direction, the towers are built on the foundations of the piers at a slope corresponding to the transverse slope of the bearing construction.
For piers 2, 4, 5 and 7, steel frames were designed, composed of HEA320 and HEA500 profiles, the transversal girders are HEA500. On each of the outer HEA500 columns (supporting the longer end of the upper girder), additional inclined struts HEB260 with triangular weldments supporting the transversal girder were added. The steel frames were built on piers foundations. The columns of the frame were vertical, the transversal girders were inclined according to the transverse slope of the bearing construction. A base strip was inserted at the connection of the column and the girder, and also vertical threaded rods were used next to the base strip.
